Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, a.k.a. "Iz." Other famous performers of the past include Hawaiian songster Don Ho and 1960s icon Tiny Tim. More recently, the 2016 winner of America's Got Talent was 12-year-old singer Grace Vanderwaal, who accompanied herself on ukulele.
